Security & Privacy
Your data security and privacy are our top priorities. Learn how we protect your information and maintain the highest standards of data protection.
Trust at the Core
Your company's data stays yours — always.
ATLAS connects to your existing tools with permission, never copying or selling information. Everything you see is drawn securely from verified sources within your environment. Every answer is cited. Every action is auditable.
Security, privacy, and transparency aren't features — they're the foundation of ATLAS.
How do you control access to our systems and processes?
We protect our systems from unauthorized access by following the principle of least privilege and assigning role-based permissions when granting access. Authorized users of ATLAS can only access the data relevant to their roles.
We continuously monitor for vulnerabilities, detect and block malicious activity automatically, and use network firewalls to isolate and prevent unwanted traffic.
All personal data is safeguarded to prevent unauthorized reading, copying, alteration, or deletion during transmission, transport, or storage.
To prevent accidental loss or damage, ATLAS performs daily backups of production data, follows a robust patch management process, and maintains strict separation between development, testing, staging, and production environments.
Will ATLAS index our data?
Yes. Data added via integrations or uploaded directly to ATLAS is securely indexed and stored within our dedicated cloud instance to enable search, retrieval, and automation features.
Can every user see every document?
There are three ways documents can be added to ATLAS:
Direct upload
Access is managed within ATLAS via document-level permissions or collections. Admins define who can view, edit, or share.
Private integrations
Each user authenticates individually and can only access results from the data sources they already have permission to see (e.g., their own Google Drive).
Shared integrations
Admins can choose which documents are visible to all users within a specific collection or across the entire workspace.
This ensures visibility always respects both your organization's structure and existing data permissions.
Will our data be used by third parties to train their models?
No. ATLAS is designed to remain independent of any specific large language model provider. While we integrate with third-party LLMs, your content is never used to train their models.
We operate under strict enterprise security standards and, whenever possible, enforce a zero data sharing policy with third-party vendors. Your data remains private, controlled, and exclusively used to power your own ATLAS experience.
